Donna focused on the redevelopment of Wysing Arts, including the building project and a new management approach to both the development of resident artists’ work and to that of Wysing Arts’ current artistic and revenue programme.

David Panton, Co-Director, Acme Studios
www.acme.org.uk
Acme is the leading artist studio developer in the UK. The presentation outlined a potted history of Acme from its beginnings as an ‘artist led’ studio group in the 1970’s to its current status as successful non-profit studio developer and manager.

Teo Greenstreet, Chief Executive, The Media Centre
www.the-media-centre-co.uk
Teo examined the ‘nuts and bolts’ of successfully managing The Media Centre in a period when its income profile has changed from a funded studio landlord to a self-sufficient service provider to new and emerging creative industries businesses.  The presentation touched on the experience of running The Media Centre’s recently completed radical environmentally sustainable landmark building and contrasted it with Teo’s previous experience as a founder and Director of Circus Space in Hoxton.
