Building in Context: Considering Retail Development in Historic Town Centres
Part of a series of events aimed at local officers and Design and Historic Environment Champions, this event considered the Grand Arcade, a new retail development in the heart of the historic city centre of Cambridge. Delegates had an opportunity to compare and contrast the development with new Cattlemarket site in Bury St. Edmunds , which was presented as a case study by Tony White, Project Director at Hopkins Architects. They were also given a preview of the Arcade before its official opening.
