A series of 3 seminars was held for local authority Planning Officers and Councillors throughout the region. Taking place in Bishops Stortford, Peterborough and Ipswich, these seminars were aimed at those faced with making major decisions about development and change in their built environment.
Led by Rob Cowan, a nationally renowned commentator on urban design, the workshops explored some of the key ingredients to success in the delivery of design excellence and quality in housing and urban design.
A presentation was also given by the Essex Design Initiative about the work that Essex has done, turning theory into practice with The Urban Place Supplement.
